You Snow Girl and Meet a Dog Sledder

Celebrate the season in our winter wonderland at camp. Learn more about the It’s Your Planet—Love It! Journey as you try out cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, making snow sculptures, tracking animals and creating winter crafts. Meet a sled dog musher and his four footed friends! Learn about all that goes into the sport, keeping the dogs healthy, staying safe and what makes a sled dog GO! Girls will not be mushing, but will have hands on activities that include meeting the dogs. Gather ’round the bonfire for s’mores and head inside for a cup of hot cocoa or cider when you are ready to relax a bit. Families and troops are encouraged to attend. Lunch included. This is an open house format, so you can move at your own pace. Adult chaperones are required to attend with girls.
