Intro to Brownies: Growing Up Girl Scouts
Date: Sunday 7 April 2013
Time: 1:30 pm–3:30 pm
Location: White Bear Lake High School — South Campus
There are millions of Girl Scout Brownies around the world, and you’ve just joined, or are getting ready to join, this big Brownie family. Come find out what Brownie Girl Scouting has in store for you! Meet the Brownie Elf, discover all the fun you can have at Girl Scout camps and overnights, and make a mat you can take to camp and “sit-upon” when the ground is damp or dirty. Choose ways to share what you learned as a Daisy with others and learn about what it means to be a Brownie. When Girl Scout Brownies work together, they can change the world. Award Link: This event complements the Bridge to Girl Scout Brownies Award. Registration closes at 10:59pm on March 21.
There is an Extra! Extra! For Girl Scout Brownie Leaders offered during this event at the same location. Extra! Extra! focuses on developmental characteristics, behavior and conflict management, girl-led planning, and award information. To register for this training, search the online event listing for the Extra! Extra! session that is taking place at the same time and location as this Intro event. Please have at least one adult with your girls who are attending the Intro event.
