First Aid and CPR Certification

Learn how to care for victims to include:

  • Rescue breathing
  • CPR First aid for choking
  • Using a breathing barrier and disposable gloves
  • Bleeding control
  • Splinting
  • Recognizing signals of a heart attack
  • Caring for sudden illness
  • Caring for head, neck and back injuries

Upon successful completion, certifications received will be Adults CPR and Child CPR (recognized as valid for two years) and Standard First Aid (recognized as valid for two years). Please bring sack lunch, water bottle and snacks. Per new standards by the American Red Cross, course books will be available for use during the course but will not be available for individuals to take with at the completion. All materials are available for purchase from the Red Cross or for free download on their website. There will be a written and practical test.
