Community Service

From the foundation, community service has been core to the Girl Scout experience. Girls learn to be leaders in their community through environmental stewardship, helping those in need and working towards inclusiveness.

Girls Improve Their Communities Through

• Earning Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, Girl Scouts’ highest honors
• Badges and journey awards themed around service
• Leading service projects with their troop or small groups
• Participating in council-wide community service efforts
