Community Service Bar
Cadette Through Ambassador
Community Service Bars are earned by making a difference in the community and practicing Girl Scout values.

Service to Girl Scouting Bar
Cadette Through Ambassador
Service to Girl Scouting bars are earned by volunteering at least 20 hours for the Girl Scouts.

Medal of Honor
All Grade Levels
This award is given to a girl who has shown presence of mind and true Girl Scout spirit in an emergency.

This award is given to a girl who has shown extraordinary heroism or risked her life to save another’s.

Volunteer in Training

This award is earned by mentoring younger Girl Scouts outside of the camp experience.

Cookie Activity Pin
All Grade Levels
All girls who participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program are eligible to earn the annual Cookie Activity Pin, which they earn by developing essential business skills.

World Thinking Day Award
All Grade Levels
Girls earn this award by participating in globally themed activities and projects to honor Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.

Girl Scouts who live overseas can earn this award by doing activities that encourage international friendships with girls in their host country.

My Promise, My Faith
All Grade Levels
Girls can earn this award once each year by finding out what their faith and Girl Scouting have in common, using the Girl Scout Law as a guide.

Ambassador
Every year, 10 Gold Award recipients receive the Girl Scouts of the USA Young Women of Distinction Award. This includes an all-expense paid, special awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
