Serving the Community

Since our founding more than 100 years ago, community service has been core to the Girl Scout mission. Through community service activities, girls gain a sense of community pride and commitment that set the foundation for a lifetime of active citizenship. Whether it’s a small group initiative or a big council-wide event, Girl Scouts are making a significant difference in their local and global communities.
