These positions range in the amount of time required each month, but all are asking for a year-long or more commitment.
Troop Activities
- Skyline Towers Troop Leader or Helper: Bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls residing at Skyline Towers in Saint Paul. Troop meets once or twice a month after school from 4:30–5:30 p.m. with dates dependent on volunteers’ schedules
- Cultural Initiatives Assistant: Work with staff and girls to carry out Girl Scouts programming within assigned cultural initiatives troops.
Awards and Honors
- Gold Award Committee Member: Provide guidance and support to Girl Scouts working toward the Girl Scout Gold Award — the highest award in Girl Scouting. Participate in at least four Gold Award project presentations.
- Gold Award Advisor: Support high school girls through the process of earning the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Serve as a Delegate
Representing Girl Scouts River Valleys as a delegate is an honor and a privilege. Delegates are also entitled to elect directors-at-large, elected officers, Board Development Committee members, and national council delegates. Learn more about how you can get involved.
