Local Alumnae Groups
Join a River Valleys Girl Scout alumnae group! Each group is centered around a common interest or shared experience. New members are welcome. Interested in setting up an alumnae group in your area? Contact theĀ Girl Scouts River Valleys Alumnae Association.
Camp Northwoods Alumnae
Camp Northwoods alumnae including campers, CIT’s and staff meet to plan service work and opportunities to promote programming at Camp Northwoods and to keep alumnae connected. They organize a reunion every five years; the next one is scheduled for 2015. In addition to monthly meetings, the group also has a blog, Yahoo group and Facebook group.

First Wednesday of each month, 6-8 p.m. at the Saint Paul Service Center.
Friends Forever
Alumnae from the legacy St. Croix Valley gather for fellowship and breakfast. A River Valleys staff member attends meetings to share council updates on events, programs and activities.

Second Monday of each month, 9:30 a.m. at IHOP in Maplewood, MN.
Good Turn Club
Alumnae come together to learn about making investments by investing your own money and make gifts to Girl Scouts with the proceeds.

Quarterly in the Twin Cities metro area.
Heritage Committee
Collects, organizes and preserves the historical record of the council, including photos, memorabilia, uniforms, books and oral histories.

Full committee meets monthly at the Northfield Service Center; each service center sets unique schedules to work on collections.
Promise Forever
Focused on developing a culture of philanthropy among young alumnae through social events and activities. This newly formed group is interested in establishing a college scholarship for Girl Scouts and are actively seeking additional members.

Second Winds
Promotes outdoor fun within the Girl Scout program; provide assistance in outdoor skills and program; provide assistance in planning, implementing and staffing outdoor events (encampments, field days, etc.). Chair and staff three large older girl encampments every year. They also award scholarships to girls within the council accepted to destinations.

Songbirds
Alumnae from the legacy Greater Minneapolis Council gather for fellowship and the fun of keeping the Girl Scouts songs alive.
