Introducing River Valleys' Fall Product Program

Participating in the 2009 River Valleys Fall Product Program (FPP) is an easy, fun way for troops to earn money prior to the Cookie Program Activity. Troops can chose to participate by offering friends and family high quality nut and chocolate items from Ashdon Farms, QSP magazine subscriptions or renewals, or both! Girls can involve friends and family who live outside the River Valleys area with the opportunity to purchase magazines online from QSP.

This council-approved troop money earning program for all program grade levels helps troops put money into their accounts in the fall and get girls engaged early with activities, council-sponsored program events, and community service projects. Juliettes participating in the Fall Product Program will receive Juliette proceed credits in lieu of troop proceeds. The Be a Reader, Unlock the Mystery! fun and enriching leadership activities include great ideas for any time during the year. This program also complements the Cookie Program Activity, allowing troops/girls to build on valuable business skills as well as to self-fund their entire program year.

To participate, contact productsales@girlscoutsrv.org or call 800-845-0787 and ask for a product sales manager. Kick-offs for service unit product program managers will take place at all Fall Launch events, on August 29 at Camp Lockeslea, and on September 1 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, MN. Fall Product materials will arrive in September, and girls will begin taking orders October 3.
