Horse Camp for Troops: Introductory
Date: Friday 18 July 2014–Sunday 20 July 2014
Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 am
Location: Camp Northwoods
Registration Closes: 11:59 PM ET on July 03, 2014
Nothing brings a troop together faster than its love of horses. Girls can explore these magnificent creatures together. They’ll learn the basics of horse equipment, anatomy, safety, and care and discover equine-related jobs. Each girl is assigned a horse and learns Western-style riding basics during a 45-minute lesson. Traditional camp activities such as swimming and arts and crafts add to the weekend. Adults must attend, but do not ride.
