Work at Camp
Year after year, our campers report that what they remember and treasure most from camp are the relationships and sense of community they develop with staff. Your passion can make a difference in the lives of girls.
Is a Camp Job Right for You?
- See if you’re right for a camp job.
- Read about Camp Staff’s Day.
- Review sample Camp Staff Positions.
- Learn about River Valleys’ camp facilities.
- Learning about trainings and certifications for camp staff.
When Do Staff Start?
Depending on your camp and position, you will arrive in early or late June and start by attending trainings with other camp staff on topics such as homesickness, girl advocacy, risk management and more. After these sessions, staff move on to site-specific trainings and start to prepare for the arrival of campers.
Which Camp is Right for Me?
When you apply, you submit your top picks for your camp placement. Make sure to read up on River Valleys’ beautiful camp properties to help you make the best decision.
While staff have a base camp where they spend most of their time, staff may also be given the opportunity to work at another camp for a week or two. Participating at our different camps gives you a great opportunity to see more of our camps and to experience our broad range of camp activities.
