Sagata Troop House
Sagata, located in a city park on the St. Croix River, is the perfect place for our younger Girl Scouts to get a taste of camping.
A comfortable cabin with a beautiful stone fireplace, Sagata is a non-threatening introduction to sleeping bags, dunk bags, sit-upons, swimming outdoors, and more. Sagata can also be used for troop/group meetings or a picnic by the river.
Visitors can check play softball and kickball with our equipment, and check out compasses and magnifying glasses for outdoor exploration. An adjacent small park includes a swimming pool , and the nearby Washington Historical Museum in Stillwater is great for an educational field trip.
