Camp Elk River
Camp Elk River is a year-round destination located 30 miles northwest of Minneapolis. From woods to wetlands, prairies to rolling hills, campers will enjoy Camp Elk River’s beautiful 1,200 acres in a safe and fun environment.
Summer guests swim in a beautiful sand-bottomed pool and enjoy nature hikes, boating, archery and low ropes. Winter guests can go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating.
With sleeping space for 300, Camp Elk River is a great destination for single troops or larger groups. Facilities include a modern dining hall and program center, air-conditioned dorms and cabins, tree houses and modern troop houses.
