Throughout the summer, the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys is proud to offer numerous Volunteer-led Day Camps for registered Girl Scouts. Run by talented and enthusiastic teams of volunteers, our Volunteer-led day camps each have unique themes and schedules of fun activities. You might learn to cook over a campfire, play a new game or sport, tie-dye a t-shirt or bandanna, or make a great scrapbook page of your time at day camp!

Day Camp Dates: June 14 - 18 Day Camp Name: Swingin' into Stories Day Camp Location: Camp Rolling Ridges - Hudson, WI Day Camp Summary: We will be doing activities that bring some of our favorite stories to life along with Girl Scout favorites such as swimming, cooking over the fire, and singing Girl Scout songs. Day Camp Dates: June 21-25 Day Camp Name: Girl Scouts: Heroes of the Future Day Camp Location: Camp Lakamaga Day Camp Summary: Centered on our theme of women heroes. Girls explore how they can become heroes! Experience various crafts, outdoor activities, games and songs. Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies will earn Brownie Try-its and Girl Scout Juniors will earn Junior badges. Day Camp Dates: June 21-25 Day Camp Name: Valley Adventure Day Camp: Wonders of Nature Day Camp Location: Spring Lake Park, Rosemount Day Camp Summary: Week long day camp focusing on the fun activities in nature. Plan to have enriching guest presenters/educators in the areas of wildlife, weather, ect. Thursday overnight. Service Units Served: Valley Lake, Rosemount, Eagan, and any other service units interested. Day Camp Dates: June 21-25 Day Camp Name: Jester's Day Camp Day Camp Location: Camp Rolling Ridge Day Camp Summary: Come join us for a fun-filled week of camp! The theme this year is Fabulous Festivals. We will be doing all the typical fun camp things, like swimming, crafts, cooking over a fire, and all the other cool stuff we do at camp every year. Learn to guide your way by using the stars, trail signs, and compasses. Who will catch the biggest fish this summer on our fishing day at Willow River State Park? Come spend a fun filled week full of adventure and surprises. We also have archery and an overnight in tents for Girl Scout Junior and Cadette participants! Day Camp Dates: July 19-23 Day Camp Name: Fun with Fashion Day Camp Location: Camp Rolling Ridges, Hudson, WI Day Camp Summary: Girls will have fun creating their own fashions and accessories as well as participate in traditional Girl Scout camp activities such as swimming, songs, gaes, and campfire cooking. Thursday PM will entail a fashion show followed by an all-camp campfire and sleepover. Junior Girl Scouts will also have the opportunity to canoe. Day Camp Dates: July 20-22 (with overnight for 5th graders and older the evening of July 22) Day Camp Name: Lakeville Day Camp Day Camp Location: Camp Phillippo in Cannon Falls, MN Day Camp Summary: We host girls from Girl Scout Daisies up to program aides with a full day camp curriculum focusing on life learning skills. We offer swimming, rock wall climbing, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, crafts, and a whole lot of fun! Day Camp Dates: July 26-29 Day Camp Name: NOrthern Lights Day Camp Day Camp Location:Camp Rolling Ridges, Hudson, WI Day Camp Summary: Our theme this year is "Under the Sea." Programming will teach girls importance of water, learning all about H2O. This includes water saftey, health benefits, ocean health; incorporating the Girl Scout Daisy Earth and Sky, Girl Scout Brownie World of Water Journey, and a Junior program. Day Camp Dates: July 26-29 Day Camp Name: Wayzata Day Camp Day Camp Location: Camp Elk River Day Camp Summary: Our theme this year is "Weird Science." Girls will be learning about science through a variety of experiments/projects, cooking outdoors, swimming, decorating their unit, making SWAPS and more. Day Camp Dates: July 27-31 Day Camp Name: Sail Away Day Camp Location: Sacajawea Day Camp in AV - Dakota County Parks Day Camp Summary: Join us for a fun filled week sailing around the world. Travel across the Seven seas, navigate around tropical islands and dock at exotic "ports of call." Learn about the people of fforeign lands, ancient ruins, mysterious customs and secrets of the deep. We will smell the salt water, gaze at the stars, feel the sea breezes and hear the language of the dolphins. Come on aboard for a cast away adventure. Service Units Served: South of the River - Eagan, Apple Valley, Inver Grove Heights, Rosemount, Burnsville, South Saint Paul, Mandota Heights, West Saint Paul, and etc. Registration Opening Date: February 1 Registration Deadline: ongoing or reach capacity of 130-140 campers, depending on age groups and staffing Registration Event Information: Representative will attend all service unit meetings and give information, from January through February
Day Camp Dates: August 2-6 (overnight August 6-7 for girls going into 5th grade or older) Day Camp Name: Rum River Day Camp - Rum River Medieval Maidens Day Camp Location: Camp Elk River Day Camp Summary: We will earn the Renaissance Times Try-It/Badge/IPP series, swimming, crafts, games, songs, outdoor cooking, FUN!
