Located about an hour east of Rochester in Rushford, Minn., Camp Whispering Hills offers girls going into grades 1 through 12 a chance to explore hundreds of acres of elegant bluffs, fields, and forests. Horseback riding is the most popular program area of camp, with girls exploring the hills and valleys via horseback and practicing their skills in the riding ring. Older girls, make sure to check out the new Adventure Sessions in canoeing, sea kayaking, and backpacking!
Girls sleep in cozy cabins or treehouses with their grade group. Treehouses are cabins resembling large bird houses that come complete with bunk beds and beautiful vistas. All cabins come complete with bunk beds and flush toilets outside. Bathrooms are located near all the living units. Nutritious and kid-friendly meals are served family-style in the dining hall and most girls have the opportunity to cook out a meal over a campfire. High energy snacks are also offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
