Discover Beautiful Northern Wisconsin

Camp Northwoods, located near Iron River, Wisconsin, approximately one hour east of Duluth, Minn. and four hours northeast of St. Paul/Minneapolis, offers a beautiful camp setting for girls to play and learn together. The camp, which borders the Chequamegon National Forest, encompasses 420 acres with a diverse forest and surrounds Camp One Lake.

Come stay in one of our beautiful troop houses, complete with indoor bathrooms and showers or log cabins with electricity.  For those who want to rough it a bit, we also offer platform tent units overlooking Lake One or parts of the forest.   A modern shower house, new horse barn and riding rings, sand beach waterfront and miles of trails for hiking round out the camp facilities.   Horse back programming is  available to troops mid June through mid August.  Camp Northwoods offers girls, troops, and groups a true “Northwoods” retreat!
