Always a Girl Scout Day
Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout! You may be surprised to learn how many of your employees are connected through Girl Scouting. Twenty-five percent of American women are Girl Scout alumnae, and the number is even higher for professional women. In fact, 80 percent of female business owners and two out of three women in Congress are Girl Scout alumnae.
From June 20-24, 2011, organizations across the council celebrated Always a Girl Scout Week. It was such fun that we created an Always a Girl Scout Day tool kit that can be used by any organization that would like to organize an event. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts, and we hope you'll celebrate with us!
