Use the following resources to earn the 100th Anniversary Patch:
All girls do this:
Earn the Centennial Day of Service Patch.
Girls choose two of the following activities:
- Attend one of these family-friendly events:
- Girl Scout Corn Maze Day at Tweite’s Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, September 24, 2011.
- Service Unit Family Event In November 2011 or spring 2012 (contact your service unit for details)
- Service Unit Thinking Day Event in February 2012 (contact your service unit for details)
- Participate in River Valleys’ Oral History Project
- Oral History Guidelines & Report
- Interview tips
- Interview Questions
- Upload your video to YouTube following these instructions
- Participate in The Great Girl Gathering @ MOA, March 10-11, 2012
- Learn about Girl Scout history:
- Do activities from River Valleys' Follow Me Girls patch program or contact a service center to check out the "Follow Me Girls" program kit.
- Do activities from GSUSA’s Celebrate History in Honor of the 100th Anniversary packet.
- Earn a badge from the Legacy Badge Category in the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting for your program grade level.
Optional: Make a troop donation to the River Valleys Centennial Fund
