Camp Elk River
Ride horses in the ring or swim in the beautiful sand-bottomed swim pond, Lake Barbara. Camp Elk River offers a variety of traditional camp activities for girls entering grades 1-12.
In summer 2012:
Housing includes modern “dorms” with bathroom and shower facilities in each building, as well as unique “tree house” cabins with a centrally located shower house. Everyone eats in the spacious dining hall, located in the Grey Koch building.
Camp Elk River is located 30 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Its 1,200 acres feature woods, wetlands, prairies, hills and more.
