Lifesaving Award

(All grade levels)
The Bronze Cross and Medal of Honor are given to a registered Girl Scout who has saved or attempted to save a human life.

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

(Girl Scout Cadette through Girl Scout Ambassador)
This award supports people in grades 5-12 who have volunteered during the 12 months prior to the application date. National honorees receive a total of $6,000, an engraved gold medallion and a trophy for their organization. For more information visit www.prudential.com/spirit.

Safety Award

(Girl Scout Brownie through Girl Scout Ambassador)
This award recognizes a Girl Scout who has successfully completed activities that emphasize safety. Find eligibility requirements for each age level in Safety-Wise. Awards may be purchased in the Girl Scout Shop.

Young Women of Distinction Award

(Girl Scout Ambassador)
Every year, 10 Gold Award recipients receive the Girl Scouts of the USA Young Women of Distinction Award. This includes an all-expense paid, special awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
