Who We Are
In partnership with 18,000 adult volunteers, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys helps nearly 45,000 girls each year — in all or portions of 49 counties in southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin — to discover new abilities, connect with new friends, and take action to improve their communities. Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent leadership development organization for girls, building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. For more information, call 800-845-0787.
Girls of all abilities in kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome and encouraged to join Girl Scouts. Troops form all year long. Volunteers are always welcome as well. Anyone interested in helping girls in their community become future women leaders are encouraged to call 800-845-0787.

Promise and Law
The Girl Scout Promise On my honor, I will try: To serve God* and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
* The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate. |
The Girl Scout Law I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout. |
