Starting in the 2018 membership year (October 1, 2017), the annual membership dues collected by Girl Scouts of the USA will increase to $25 for both girl and adult members.
A Girl Scout membership is one of the most valuable investments anyone can make in a girl’s life. The additional funding provided by the upcoming membership dues increase will ensure this important programming endures and thrives.
Girl Scouts of the USA is committed to sustaining and developing the exceptional leadership programs we know improve girls’ lives, as well as providing new tools that will enhance the girl and volunteer experience nationwide and better engage 59 million alumnae. Girl Scouts of the USA will continue delivering service and support to the Movement’s 112 councils and provide thousands of volunteers with the relevant resources, tools, and training they need to best serve today’s girls.
Girl Scouts River Valleys is committed to ensuring that all girls and volunteers are able to participate in Girl Scouting, regardless of ability to pay. Financial assistance will continue to be available, and River Valleys has planned to increase its available grant dollars to match the dues increase.
