Girl Scout Spirit Day 2016 – Show us your spirit and get a patch!

Cue the cheer… We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about you?! Girl Scout Spirit Day, this year on October 26, is a day of sisterhood and celebration that started at River Valleys in 2013. It’s an opportunity for girls to show their enthusiasm for Girl Scouts by wearing their uniform, pins, and other Girl Scout gear to school and around town, and for leaders, volunteers, staff, and parents to take lots of adorable pictures (and share on social media—don’t forget to tag us @girlscoutsrv)!

spirit-day-patch-2016For leaders looking to add girls to their troops, Girl Scout Spirit Day is an excellent time to spread the word about troop meetings to potential new Girl Scouts and their families. Girls can invite others to join their troop too with these nifty printable invitations!

Submit your 2016 Spirit Day photos of your girl in her Girl Scout uniform or gear via the form below, and we’ll send you a girl-designed patch for sharing what Girl Scout spirit means to you!

Photo Submission

We are no longer accepting photo submissions. The deadline was October 31, 2016 at 11:59 PM CST.

Hi Rob, you sure can. If you select “More than 10 girls” you can shoot us a message and let us know where to send the patches. Thanks!

Thank you for everything you guys do to make these girls love Girl Scouts and be a sister to every girl!

Super daunting to enter all that info for each girl. I don’t understand why the troop leaders can’t just enter their own info and get the patches for everyone.

Hi Kylene, if you select “More than 10 girls,” you can shoot us a message and we can send all of the patches to a troop leader. Thanks!

I’m a leader and I of course waited to the last minute. I have 3 submissions with photos from my phone and I couldn’t get them to go through before the deadline. Is there anything I can do?

  4. Erika says

I submitted one for both my daughters but for the second submission not sure it went through-can you confirm?
