The snow and cold won’t stop Girl Scouts from having a great time this winter! These events are sure to provide your girl with fresh air and lots of winter fun:
Ski and Snowshoe: Explore camp on snowshoes and cross-country skis. Learn the basics of staying safe in the cold and using skis and snowshoes to get around in the snow. Travel on a short trail or have a relay with your friends. Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa! (Grades 2-12)

You Snow Girl: Celebrate the season in our winter wonderland at camp. Cross-country ski, snowshoe, make snow sculptures, track animals, and create winter crafts. Gather ’round the bonfire for s’mores and head inside for a cup of hot cocoa or cider when you are ready to relax a bit. A perfect event for all ages and experience levels!
Winter Wonderland Weekend: Engage in a variety of outdoor activities, including winter survival, cross-country skiing, broomball, snowshoeing, night hikes and more. An event for all ages!
Cake-a-Maga: Learn about maple syruping at Camp Lakamaga and enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast. Identify a maple tree without its leaves, see the tapping equipment, compare different types of syrup. Troops, families and community members are all welcome.
If staying warm and indoors is more your thing – don’t worry, we have plenty of those types of events too! If you really want to escape the cold, take a trip to the tropics by visiting the Minnesota Zoo’s Animal Habitats Badge Day on January 23. (Grades 4-5)
