This month, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and Nokomis East Neighborhood Association, hosted the 7th Annual Monarch Festival at Lake Nokomis. This vibrant festival celebrates one of the most beloved insects, the Monarch butterfly, and highlights the important ways in which the community can protect this species.
