Are you excited to pack up your troop for a visit to places unknown? No sure where to begin? Look no further!
A Girls Travel U.S. training will be offered on Thursday, December 18, from 6-9 pm, at the Brooklyn Center Service Center.
This is a practical training for adult Girl Scout volunteers that are planning on taking an extended regional or national trip lasting more than three overnights.
Even if your troop doesn’t have a trip in the works just yet, this training is a beneficial tool for future planning.
While there, you will gain the necessary skills to guide your troop through the planning and budgeting process, as well as review the safety requirements and transportation needs for a regional or national trip. You will also learn how to gauge girls’ readiness for a trip and become familiar with GSUSA’s and River Valleys’ policies and procedures for extended trips.
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by December 15 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
