Is there a specific permission slip or form available for obtaining parent permission for girls appearing in video? Thanks!

  2. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Sue, the Family Cookie Responsibility Form covers permission for girls to be in photos, videos, audio for Girl Scout publicity purposes. Your troop should have already collected a signed form from the parent/guardian of each girl. It’s also a good idea to let parents know that their Girl Scout will be participating in the Cookie Clip contest as well.

I see today was the cut off date. How will you announce the winners?

  4. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Danielle, The due date is actually February 27 and we’ve updated the page to reflect this. We will be announcing the winner the week of March 10 via a blog post and a callout in The Smart Cookie.

Wow! We are so honored! We take cookies very seriously around here! I was at my meeting Monday evening just pulling up our cookie clip video on my I Pad to show some of the girls who hadn’t seen it yet when I saw your e-mail! The Cheers!! It was deafening! Thank you so much! We had fun making the video- the girls have adapted the ‘Horseland’ song from the popular cartoon to ‘HorseCamp’ in honor of Camp Elk River!! Yay! Brownie Troop 16218 is so proud!
