Top Sellers for 2013 Snacks + Magazines

blog-snacks-magazinesThe two-week selling window for the annual Snacks + Magazines is just the type of challenge 10-year-old Girl Scout, Bridget likes to take on.

Bridget’s parents are business owners, and knowing her parents often give clients gifts for the holidays, Bridget looked to the small businesses in her family’s circle of friends. Bridget then approached them about giving Girl Scout products this year to show they support the community.

This approach earned the Andover Girl Scout Junior the top spot for River Valleys after earning nearly $3,400. Bridget’s favorite part of the sale was having the opportunity to spend time visiting her favorite businesses and telling people about Girl Scouts.

Four additional outstanding Girl Scouts each earned more than $1,500 from Snacks + Magazines:

  • Aleisha from Chatfield, $1,846
  • Ashley from Apple Valley, $1,665
  • Bryanna from Loretto, $1,569
  • Myah from Roberts, WI, $1,502

These girls did a tremendous job earning funds for their troops, and they’re already making plans on how to spend the money.
