blog-troop-leader-resourcesLooking for help with troop operations, STEM, or planning your troop year? New resources are available to help you with a number of activities.

Troop Support Specialists

These River Valleys staff members specialize in specific areas of Girl Scout knowledge. They can assist you with questions regarding troop operations, program level resources, STEM, higher awards and more. If you ever need any help, please email the Troop Support team at Troop support tools and information are also available on our Troop Leaders page.

Plan Your Year

We have a new resource for Girl Scout Daisy, Brownie, and Junior troop leaders called Plan Your Year. It provides leaders with a meeting-by-meeting guide for the entire Girl Scout year. Each plan includes a Journey, badges from each focus area, and celebrations. There are also links to help leaders add variety to the year through field trips, events, camps, and more.

Full Planning Guides are still available for all Girl Scout levels. Plan Your Year and the Planning Guides can be found through the Troop Leaders page.

Dawn & I have a great Christmas gift project to offer West Metro area troops. It is an annual calendar in a CD case. This project has been done by a troop in St Paul with Michelle Lynch for a number of years. It is an affordable option ($5 per case per girl) plus allows the girls to be creative in making a handmade gift for teacher, parent or friend. We would be happy to supply you with a sample and more details. We hope to hear from you. Thank you –
