Not sure if you are offering more Journey events than in previous years or if it is just that I now know to look for them. Thanks for making my job as a leader easier, keep up the good work.

  2. B Carlson says:

It would be so nice if events were in a more centralized location. A 180 mile drive in December is a bit much. A lot of girls are leaving girl scouts because there are no opportunities for the ones living outside of the metro area.

  3. DP says:

Will you be offering any Journey’s for Juniors or Cadette’s that are NOT OVERNIGHT? I know you had some last year. Thanks!

  4. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

DP, the Cadette event on December 14 is a day event, so that may be a good option for you.

  5. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

B, thank you for your feedback on our events. We are offering events in areas that have historically filled to capacity levels, and offering themes that have been popular. We encourage troops and Girl Scouts to reach out to our events specialist, who can provide resources for holding events in your area. Kristin Cleary can be reached by email at kristin.cleary@girlscoutsrv.org or phone at 800-845-0787 x1118.

  6. S Smith says:

Will you be doing the Jr. Amuse Journey this year? If not, are you only picking one to focus on each year? You might want publish that in the Spring for the following year so girls can pick their journey based on council event happenings.

  7. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Thank you for your feedback, and I will forward that to our programming team.
