Hi Michelle- Thanks for the question. Last year’s bags were a gift for the Centennial and will not be supplied this year by the council.

Can the girls earn the badge if we organize it at the troop level, and not organize this at a service unit level?

    • Girl Scouts River Valleys says

All girls can earn a Community Cleanup Patch, which will be sent along with door hangers when they register their cleanup at the Freshwater site. Cleanups do not have to be organized at the service unit level. More information can be found on the Community Cleanup page.

The registration address did not work for me. I was able to get there through another way though. It sent me to a “freshwater quality” site though not a girl scout site.

  3. Christy Steman says

I was wondering how we can get an additional 3 patches? I had three new girls join and would hate to see them not get one for their hard work. Thanks!
