Lend a Hand at the Minnesota State Fair

Farm Hands VolunteersVolunteer at Little Farm Hands at the Minnesota State Fair with your friends, family or troop for a three-hour shift, August 31 or September 1 and enjoy free admission for the day.

Little Farm Hands at the Fair is a hands-on agricultural education exhibit for children, ages 3–10. Volunteers are needed to guide children and their families through the exhibit barns.

To sign up: Contact Virginia R. Mold, Agriculture Specialist, by email or phone at 651-288-4440. This volunteer opportunity is recommended for those who are at least nine years old.

    I have 9 yr old twins that were in Girl Scouts the last 4 yrs. They would be interested in volunteering.

    These are our girls in the picture and we’ve been doing this for many years. The girls love it and received a free t-shirt each year. Then the rest of the day they could roam the fair!

    I highly recommend this as a great troop activity!
