When my daughter Elizabeth applied to St. Kate’s in 2008, she was offered a scholarship based on earning the Girl Scout Gold Award–as she walked through the door at a St. Kate’s admission event! My daughter ultimately decided to attend a college in outstate Minnesota, which does not have a specific Girl Scout scholoarship. However, that college, Gustavus Adolphus, took into account her Girl Scout accomplishments in awarding her their Presidential Scholarship. Kathy
