Chloe & HalleWe are excited to announce who will be performing at the Cookie Concert, Girl Scouts Feed the Need.

They are…

Chloe and Halle from Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing!

We are very excited to celebrate a successful Girl Scout Cookie Program with you at Feed the Need on May 4.

Girls who purchased a Party in a Bag for the National Cookie Sleepover are eligible to attend. Each troop will also be provided with enough adult passes to cover the appropriate adult-to-girl ratio for events per GSUSA regulations.

Stay tuned for more information on distribution of passes as well as concert updates, which will be sent to your email and posted on our website.

  1. PhoenixVG says:

Do we know approx times for the concert? Our troop is signed up for First Aid also on May 4th in the morning and we hope to make it to both!

  2. Jenny says:

Will there be tickets that siblings can purchase?

  3. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Phoenix- We do not have the exact times yet for Feed the Need, but the first concert is in the morning and the second is in the afternoon.

Jenny- There will be no additional tickets for purchase.

  4. Kari says:

Can we request to be the afternoon concert time if we know we can’t make the morning one due to lack of registered adults who can make it before lunch? We registered really early for the party in a bag, so will probably be assigned the morning.

  5. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Due to the capacity and safety guidelines for the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand, you are only allowed to attend the concert for which you received an admission pass. If you wish to swap passes with another troop, you and the other troop leader(s) are solely responsible for managing this type of transaction and ensuring all girl/adult ratios are maintained.

  6. Kelly says:

When will you be listing what time the shows are going to be? and Will we be able to get the concert tickets/passes mailed to us?

  7. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Kelly, we are working on the details of the event including the specific times and ticket distribution. Expect to see more details released soon here on our blog and our social media channels.

  8. kelly says:

    thanks for responding appreciate it.

  9. Alicia Mills says:

When will we know which concert we are receiving passes for?

  10. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Alicia- If your troop was a part of the first 6,500 girls registered for the National Cookie Sleepover, your troop will attend the first concert. If your troop was not a part of the first 6,500 girls registered, your troop will attend the second concert. Your troop leader should have received an email indicating which concert you will be attending. If you have any further questions, please email FeedtheNeed@girlscoutsrv.org.

  11. Shari Grundy says:

I am wondering when… I will be notified for the day& time we are going to the concert. We are trying to plan another event in our service unit.

  12. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Shari- Both concerts are on the same day, May 4. We are working on the details of the event including the specific times and ticket distribution. Expect to see more details released soon here on our blog and our social media channels.

  13. Steph says:

Since the concert was originally advertised as an afternoon concert, it seems like the 1st 6,500 girls should get tickets to the afternoon concert. And the ones who registered later should get tickets to the other concert.

  14. Toni says:

As the person who registered all of our service unit, I did not get an email stating which concert we go to. As your response to Alicia Mills states that we should have received an email? We are traveling quite a ways so would like the afternoon concert as I agree with Steph in regards to when we should be able to attend etc.

  15. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Toni- We saw that you also emailed us at FeedtheNeed@girlscoutsrv.org. We will respond to all of your questions through an email. Please look for it this afternoon. Thank you for your patience as River Valleys continues to plan this exciting event for girls.

  16. Kristy Travis says:

As a Leader of a Troop that will need to travel over 2 hours one way to attend the concert on May 4th – I have not received an email to confirm which concert our Troop is registered to attend. I would appreciate that information more than a month out from the concert for proper and safe planning. Thank you!

  17. Linda Gilbertson says:

What time will the concert start?
    Thanks

  18. Denise says:

I did not receive an e-mail yet about when our troop is scheduled to go. Could you let us know soon?

  19. Shellie says:

Time for details please! This is just a little over a month away and I need to get info out to my girls, find chaperones, arrange transport, etc. I meet with my girls every 2 weeks, but some Troops meet less often. PLEASE get out the details!

  20. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Troops among the first 6,500 girls registered for the National Cookie Sleepover will attend the first concert and those registered afterward will attend the second concert. We are excited to inform you that more information regarding the times of concerts, ticket distribution, a FAQ and exciting news will be released very soon. Thank you for your patience as we continue to plan this fun celebration for the girls.

  21. Jean says:

What is the situation with the parking? Will there be designated lots for the concert? I see there is another event the same day at the fairgrounds. Also, will there be a fee for parking. This information is greatly appreciated so we can plan ahead.

  22. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Jean- All guests may park in any of the Minnesota State Fair parking lots, and there is no fee. The closest lots to the Grandstand are the Fox Lot, Robin Lot and Giraffe Lot. If you have any additional logistical questions, our FAQ is a good place to look.

  23. Kris says:

I read that we can switch tix with other troops but we need to be in control of it! I have 10 tix for the 4pm show but is wondering if anyone would like to switch so our trip could go to the 12pm show! Thanks! I guess just respond to this comment and I’ll chk back daily!! Thanks again!

  24. Shel says:

If we have bad weather will there be any change in the concert venue or date? Never can tell if it is going to snow again!

  25. Girl Scouts River Valleys says:

Hi Shel- The concert will go on rain, snow or shine! In the event of severe weather, information on cancellations may be accessed at 800-845-0787 and will be posted on the front page of River Valleys’ website and social media sites.
