Girl Scouts March in Mendota Days Parade

Summer brings all kinds of fun activities for girls. Last month, five Girl Scout troops from the Indian Heights service unit marched in the Mendota Days Parade. The parade is part of the Mendota Days celebration held in mid-July each year. The Girl Scouts walk in the parade every year and have a lot of fun.

Girl Scout Daisies and sisters Samantha and Allison, wearing official Girl Scout gear, smiled for a photo after marching in the parade. It turned out to be a bright and warm summer day—a great day for a parade and a great way for Girl Scouts to discover and connect in their community.
