Every spring many River Valleys Girl Scout leaders take the opportunity to complete Early Bird registration. This is a time during the spring when leaders can re-register their current Girl Scout troops for the upcoming Girl Scout year.
Early Bird Registration allows troops to get a jump start on their Girl Scout year in the fall – they don’t have to spend time organizing and gathering registrations from their Girl Scouts because they are already registered!
In addition to the convenience of Early Bird registration, this opportunity also provides incentives for the girls and troops who participate. Each Girl Scout who participates receives an early bird patch (pictured), which recognizes a girl’s commitment to continuing her Girl Scout leadership experience. The troop incentive is earned by troops who meet the Early Bird registration requirements. More information about the troop Early Bird registration incentive will be shared at the April leader meetings.
Consider participating in this years’ Early Bird registration process, and get your Girl Scouts excited about continuing their Girl Scout Leadership Experience in 2012.
